[...] White on Rice Couple Comfort tonight: Roasted Butternut Squash with Pasta September 17, 2009, 7:51 pm Filed under: Pastas & Sauces, WW Two things are influencing my food mood: the beginning of fall weather and a need for comfort. I picked up my CSA tonight and was disappointed to not get a butternut squash. This confirmed that I really wanted to make a dish that Jesslyn and I made this summer when I visited her and Jim in Madison. It was a roasted butternut squash with pasta one-pot dish. And it was to die for. When we made it, the recipe said it fed 4 and we thought that it would feed 6. There was so much of it! As it turned out, it fed the three of us. It’s just that good. We gorged on it. Simone and I have our weekly baking club tonight and we decided this would be a great, easy dinner to make while we baked peanut butter fudge treats. [...]

First time I've made something you listed - and, oh my - we should videotape people's responses as they take the first bite. it ranges from a sigh of relief to calm acceptance of the sugar rush. Awesome.

Totally made these and brought them to work to save myself from heart attack. My boss ate one and then pretended to hurriedly reach for his insulin. Cheesy I know, but pretty accurate actually.

So I just made the P/B Fudge Treats and it looks insanely good! Am a little worried though as I misread the instructions and threw all the choc fudge ingredients in the pot together - waiting to see if the fudge will set or be a big gooey mess. Though I know will be eaten by all regardless!! Thanks Joy, I am one of your newer website addicts.
