Wow. These are crazy sweet. And super good! I made them and a friend came over and immediately asked for the recipe. I halved the recipe and it worked fine. I can’t wait to share them with my family and friends.

Oh-my-gosh….insanely good! My grandmother used to make something similar to these, but with cheerios instead of the Rice Krispies. I made these goodies tonight for my brother’s neighborhood holiday potluck. He just moved to his new home….he’s guaranteed to be the most popular guy on the block with these gems! I picked up my CSA tonight and was disappointed to not get a butternut squash. This confirmed that I really wanted to make a dish that Jesslyn and I made this summer when I visited her and Jim in Madison. It was a roasted butternut squash with pasta one-pot dish. And it was to die for. When we made it, the recipe said it fed 4 and we thought that it would feed 6. There was so much of it! As it turned out, it fed the three of us. It’s just that good. We gorged on it. Simone and I have our weekly baking club tonight and we decided this would be a great, easy dinner to make while we baked peanut butter fudge treats. [...]
