This sounds wonderful! I have been thinking of making my own, but wasn't sure how difficult it would be. I am so glad to hear how easy it is...PB is one of my favorite things to eat...gotta try this soon.

I have 20 peanut plants growing in the garden right now---my first time growing them since I was a child-I hope they do well and I can have really healthy peanuts to make some peanut butter with. I also have 2 very large freezer bags of raspberries that I want to can--looks like I can have some yummy peanut butter & jelly sandwiches soon!

You must pour 1 tablespoon of oil over the nuts and roast them in a 350 degree oven for 10 minutes before you put them in the food processor. make sure you stir the nuts often in the oven so they don't burn. Good luck with it. I made some nutella the other day and it turned out divine.

I wouldn't say you need to refrigerate this peanut butter as soon as you make it, but once you're done using it, put it in a good tupperware container and store it in the fridge... just to keep it super fresh.

Do you have to refrigerate the peanut butter immediately or even at all in order to preserve it's life?
