Rishi Tea Giveaway

Tea Cupping

My favorite tea cup doesn’t even belong to me.  Sounds crazy, right?  My favorite tea cup belongs to my favorite cafe in Los Angeles.  My favorite cafe in Los Angeles is home to perfect sidewalk tables, breezes, shaded sunshine, loads of people watching, and some seriously good sandwiches and coleslaw.

Now… let’s play a game!

You want an awesome glass tea pot with five fantastic teas from Rishi Tea.

I want to know you more.  Is that creepy?   I just think you all are so dang cool, that I thought a giveaway involving awesome tea, a super sweet tea pot, and your smiling face might be just what we all need.

Here’s the deal:

Bust out your digital camera and send me a picture of you with your favorite tea cup.  I know… I’m totally making your work for this giveaway.  Can you handle it?  Come on… this is totally fun!

Email me a picture of your smiling, cheesy, or coy face with your favorite tea cup.  I’ll randomly pick a winner and send off a lovely Rishi Tea pot with five teas.

Emails and attached pictures should be sent to joy (at) joythebaker (dot) com, by the end of Friday March 20th.

But how will you know if you’ve won?  Well, I’ll post the picture of the wining reader and mug on Saturday morning.

But what if you don’t like my mug?  This isn’t a beauty contest friends.  I’m not judging on photo quality or hair stylings.  Just be the awesome Joy the Baker reader that you are!

You’ve got until the end of Friday to play along, so bust out those cameras and get shootin’.  Thanks to you and Rishi Tea for playing along!

Suggestion: can we see some other photos that people send in, along with the winner? Maybe runner ups or something? It just seems like a shame that you get to see all the cool photos and we dont. :)

I’ll join in, just for fun, but I live in the UK so it probably wouldn’t be practical to include me in a giveaway as I can imagine that international posting would be a nightmare! However, I do have a VERY favourite tea cup, which I shall fill with great joy for a photo!

Is it ok with you guys if I keep my favorite cafe a secret!? It’s actually not a secret to many as it’s tremendously popular.

Also… I want you to know how much I’ve enjoyed the pictures I received so far. I’m absolutely tickled that you guys are playing along. How cute are you guys!? Seriously… so so cute! I love your pictures.
I’m going to post all of the pictures along with the picture of the winner. All of the pictures are just too good not to share!

    secret?

    thats so tacky.

if there are lots of people like you in this world, food business wont be good. its so mean that if people liked a restaurant/cafe/food, etc they just kept it to themselves, not give recommendations and stuff.

your yourself is in the food business right? how would u feel if someone ordered your cake/food and people really liked it and they asked the host where they got it, but the host was just like ” Is it ok with you guys if I keep my food a secret”
yes, i know you said it was popular, but how many are there popular cafes in Los Angeles??

shame on you, that was really selfish.

  24. 24
    Lorraine says:

Wow.. I thought she was pretty nice for giving away a tea set. That doesn’t seem very selfish at all. She shares so much, I supposed she is entitled to a private life. Just my opinion.

    Thanks Joy! Don’t feel bad.

    Lorraine

    aisha says:

didnt she get the tea set for free?

most blogs get their stuff cause its part of their marketing anyways.
and they have companies give them stuff..

btw, whatever i said have absolutely nothing to do with her personal life (except if she claims the secret cafe belongs to her, therefore she have every right to keep any information to herself- and it would totally be understandable & make sense)

lorraine, whatever you said was really out of context from what i said.
you talked about giving away a free tea set, and what i was talking about was how selfish she is for not giving away recommendations about the cafe she really enjoyed. if you worked in the food business or probably any business ( but particularly food-cause we do rely on recommendations from other people, thats why we work extra hard to make everything taste and look perfect)
its sort of like “copy pasting” other persons recipe/hard work and not even giving credit to them. well next time im making something from this website and if someone praises me, i wont even mention where i got it.
