They are like bite-size brownie heaven. Yum. I left out the espresso powder--I just didn't have any (Could I have used ground coffee instead?) and the raisins (just don't like cooked raisins). And I made half the batch without nuts for my step son who has a nut allergy. But they were AMAZING! Love your blog too. Thanks.

Wonder if Tana was the lady that sat on your glasses?

Made them! Yum!! The combo sort of reminds me of Cadbury Fruit & Nut bars. Except they're wickedly rich because of all that dark chocolate. Mmmmm. They totally took care of my choco craving. Thanks Joy.

These cookies looked so amazing I just had to make them, they're fantastic! I used pecans, white and dark chocolate chips in mine. I think I'm going to have to give some to our neighbors before my husband and I eat them all! Keep up the great work!

Sorry to hear about the glasses--that really sucks--but why on earth would you put your glasses on someone else`s seat? No one wants to stand blocking the aisle in an airplane and I am sure she was busy arranging all her stuff too. Either leave your glasses on your face where they belong or put them in a hard case for protection. Seems like the fault is 99% on you. Had it be me in that situation, I would probably have given a brief apology but would not have felt particularly bad. Heck, I have sat on my OWN glasses before, and I put them there myself! It is really easy not to notice a small pair of glasses, especially if they are a typical black/grey/brown or even silver color. So I don`t particularly blame someone in a crowded, rushed environment, no doubt with lots of crap on her seat for not noticing a small pair of glasses that her seatmate inexplicably placed there!

The cookies do look delicious though.
