The Hands That Feed

Your thoughts about coconut cookies and what makes your happy brought endless smiles to my face.  Thank you to all of you who took the time to share.   From rainy afternoons, to rum drinks and hot tubs, hearing what helps you find your happy has reminded me of all the little things that can create some light on a down day.

I’m headed to Palm Springs this weekend to visit my grandparents.

I’m rushing to hit the highway.

I promise that upon my return I will tell you about these- the hands that feed.

Hope you all have a happy weekend.  Make it so!

That salt shaker gave me an immediate childhood flashback…my mom has used that same one “since before you were born”!! Where is it from, do you know?

I am willing to bet you took this picture in the kitchen of my mother-in-law, and that would be in Germany!

Those hands look like, “don’t worry, my daddy will fix it” hands. Hope you had a great visit with your grandparents in Palm Springs. I think of my grandparents every day.

WOW I too have instant memories of my childhood. My Mum had one of these sets too - and probably still does - I could be wrong, but I think it is a Tupperware set.

I did a double-take when I saw the picture of the salt shaker, as I still use my set. I think I purchased it in the 70’s. It’s Tupperware.
